Irish-American screenwriter Mark Fergus is co-writer of stand-out successes such as Iron Man and Children of Men, the latter of which earned him an Academy Award ® nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay. Other writing credits to Fergus’ name include sci-fi thriller Cowboys and Aliens and popular television series The Expanse.  

Fergus will take part in an “in conversation” event at the 2021 Fleadh hosted by Irish award-winning screenwriter and screen consultant Mary Kate O’Flanagan, who works with writers across The UK, The US, South Africa, and across Europe. O’Flanagan works in the Film and Television industry as a credited co-writer and an uncredited script doctor.
