Marketplace Applications Now Open for 2024
The Marketplace at the Galway Film Fair will take place on the Friday 12th and Saturday 13th of July in Galway. Now in its 28th year, the Galway Film Fair is a key industry and networking event in the international film calendar. Running alongside the Galway Film Fleadh, the Fair is an umbrella term for the Marketplace and the many industry events taking place during the festival, the Fair has gained a reputation as both a vital European co-production hub, and a uniquely intimate yet productive networking site.
Central to the Fair’s success is the Marketplace event which coordinates approximately 700 pre-scheduled meetings annually between filmmakers with projects in development (and/or completed films) and invited Film Financiers, Distributors, Sales Agents, Broadcasters, Film Funds and Major Producers from over 30 countries. Attendees have included the likes of A24, XYZ, Neon, StudioCanal, Lionsgate, Film 4, Visit Films, Epic Pictures and many more. Also in attendance are representatives from AAA international festivals such as Toronto, Tribeca, SXSW, and Sundance.
To participate, applicants must have either a feature film, documentary, animation or TV Series project in development or a completed film. Applicants should note that priority will be given to projects which have a percentage of development and/or production finance in place.

Single Delegate* Applications:
Early Bird Deadline: Tuesday March 19th, 2024, at 5pm GMT. Fee per delegate €195
Final Deadline: Monday May 13th, 2024, at 5pm GMT. Fee per delegate €250
Double Delegate* Applications:
Early Bird Deadline: Tuesday March 19th, 2024, at 5pm GMT. Fee per application €390
Final Deadline: Monday May 13th, 2024, at 5pm GMT. Fee per application €500
Delegate information:
A single delegate – one person from a company.
A double delegate – two people from the same company taking meetings together (maximum of two delegates per company)
