Submissions Open for XR Projects

• We accept works in progress, however all works must be finalised for presentation at Galway Film Fleadh. 

• All applicable licenses and waivers of copyrights, moral rights, trademarks and other such intellectual property rights must have been secured by the producer(s) 

• The call is open to XR creations in virtual reality and mixed reality, including interactive works and realtime narratives.

• An Irish production/co-production is defined as a production that features an Irish resident/born director, producer, lead animator or writer OR a production shot on the island of Ireland

•Projects must only be submitted by link for this section. Please do not upload a 2D version of your project.

•Accepted links = A streaming link i.e. YouTube/Vimeo or other private password protected viewing platform (no public links please) / A downloadable link from a transfer or cloud storage service i.e. WeTransfer, Google Drive, Dropbox, MyAirBridge, etc.

•Experiences must be playable on Meta Quest 2 or 3 and should be submitted as a 360º video file (.mp4) or .apk file.

•Projects can be Seated VR- interactive/ non-interactive or Roomscale VR interactive/ non-interactive.
