About the Speakers:

Henrik Jonsson (Industry Scout)

With over 20 years’ experience in games and graphics programming, Henrik was recently awarded a prize from Swedish royalty for being an “Online Angel of the Year” following his work to make the game industry a better place. Henrik believes game developers do their best work in a psychologically safe environment.

Henrik has worked on big games, like the 2015 and 2017 releases of Need for Speed, small games like slot games for online casinos, unknown gems like Anachronox and terrible games like the televised game show stuff he did in the 90s. (He was young and needed the money).

For a uniquely Galwegian / Romero Games connection: During the late 90s, Henrik worked at Ion Storm, John Romero’s renowned studio in Dallas. Henrik is also a board member of the Swedish Games Industry, the Swedish equivalent to UKIE or ESA.

Bobby Wertheim (Kando Factory)

Bobby has spent over 14 years immersed in the gaming landscape, working across various roles and domains. His deep understanding of game development, publishing, and extensive network makes him a valuable asset for the industry.

Bobby has contributed to the creation of numerous successful titles, ranging from indie gems such as Patch Quest to AAA blockbusters like Sonic the Hedgehog and the Yakuza Series.

His project management abilities, combined with a strong grasp of market trends, enable him to bring to the world immersive and engaging gameplay experiences.

Paul Wilson (Raw Fury)

Paul began his gaming career at Blizzard in 2006 starting as in-game support and product specialist on World of Warcraft various expansions.

He has since worked for companies like Zenimax and Apple, and ran his own brand and media company, consulting and producing work for EA and Riot Games.

In the last 3 years at Raw Fury he has been working as a producer on Backbone, The Signifier, Wolfstride, Tails: The Backbone Preludes and right now is focused on his next games, Mr. Sun’s Hatbox and Post Trauma.
