It’s summer in Dublin in 1998. These young teenagers are all attitude, high ponies, and low-waist jeans. Everyone is talking about sex, but no one is talking about consent. What Katie thought would be a summer of hanging out in the estate, blaring her favourite tunes, and playing football with her best mate, became a summer of expectation, crossing lines they didn’t know existed, and trying to find their way back to each other.
A bursting coming-of-age story with a twist, revealing the greyness we create to make sense of the world, rooted in deep friendships they hope can stand the test of huge change.
