NTA Film & TV and WRAP Commission Producers’ Panel & Networking Event
Sat 12 July | 16:00 – 18:00 | Veranda Lounge, Galmont Hotel
In early 2025, NTA Film and TV, in collaboration with the WRAP Commission, launched a new Mentorship Programme for Producers working in live-action drama and documentary. As part of our ongoing efforts to nurture and develop creative talent across Ireland, this programme aims to provide producers of varying experience, specialisms and backgrounds with meaningful guidance and support. By pairing mentees with experienced mentors, this new programme helps address skills gaps and supports career progression.
Building on the success of this initiative, NTA and WRAP are delighted to present a Producers’ Panel and Networking Event at this year’s Galway Film Fair (the key industry event at the Galway Film Fleadh).
The Panel will feature Mentors Stephen Woolley (The Crying Game, Michael Collins & Carol)and Ruth Treacy (Hokum, The Apprentice & Bring Them Down) with their Mentees Kelly Campbell and Jemma NicLochlainn.
The Panel will discuss the importance of industry-led skills development and the value of peer-to-peer learning, particularly in relation to knowledge-sharing, succession, and creative collaboration.
The NTA Film and TV team and the WRAP Commission team will also highlight upcoming opportunities and available support for producers.
This will be followed by a networking drinks reception, offering the chance for new, emerging and established professionals to connect in a relaxed and informal setting.
Panel: 16:00-17:00
Networking Drinks: 17:00 – 18:00
Please note: Late entry to the networking reception will not be allowed.
This event is recommended for producers at all career stages, as well as individuals interested in learning more about the role and the support available to producers. All career levels are welcome.
RSVP Required: Advance registration is essential as places are limited, and demand is expected to be high. Please RVSP HERE to confirm your attendance.
