Galway Film Fleadh simply wouldn’t be possible without the energy, passion, and dedication of our amazing volunteers!

Volunteering with us is more than just lending a hand — it’s a chance to immerse yourself in Ireland’s leading film festival, connect with people from all over the world, and be part of something truly special. Whether you’re a student looking for experience, a film enthusiast keen to get closer to the action, or just someone who loves the buzz of live events, we’d love to have you on board.
 

As a volunteer, you’ll:

  • Be part of a fun, supportive team

  • Gain hands-on experience behind the scenes of a major international film festival

  • Attend screenings and events, when possible

  • Meet filmmakers, industry guests, and fellow film lovers

  • Help ensure a warm welcome and smooth experience for our audiences and guests

  • Meet new people and be a part of Galway’s vibrant Film industry. 

There are a variety of roles available. Training will be provided, and no previous experience is necessary — just enthusiasm, reliability, and a friendly attitude!
