With five Academy Award nominations and a Palme d’Or win, Anatomy of a Fall achieved incredible arthouse success through a combination of strong critical acclaim, prestigious festival play, and impressive box office performance, particularly in France and internationally.
As Ireland focuses on increase production activity with France, David Thion and Marie-Ange Luciani guide us through the journey of Justine Triet’s film from development to sales to a successful international awards campaign. The panel will also explore French Irish co-production opportunities.

Local stories with universal themes which have connected with audiences around the globe. The director and producer of both films will take us through the challenges of successful low budget production models, the opportunities of regional production and the marketing campaign to help these films break through.
