Acclaimed documentarian Amir Bar-Lev returns to the Fleadh with a new documentary exploring a harrowing and ultimately tragic 2021 expedition where three expert mountaineers set out to be the first to summit K2 in the winter, when the mountain’s conditions are the cruellest. The men soon find themselves sharing the treacherous ascent with influencer climbers and their film crews, commercial expedition clients, and a celebrity mountaineer, none of whom are prepared for the harrowing ordeal ahead.
