James Wynne’s Irish-language documentary follows Belfast’s Star of the Sea, the best youth football team in Ireland. The team was made up of Protestant and Catholic players from the mixed local community of Rathcoole, who played and socialised together without political friction. Despite attention from the UK professional teams, by the mid-70s the team had been torn apart by the Troubles, and the future revealed very different plans for these young men, among them their full-back Bobby Sands.
