As part of our Estonian Spotlight this year, the Fleadh is pleased to present Eeva Mägi’s latest feature – her previous film Mo Mama screened at the Galway Film Fleadh in 2024. After ten years in prison for accidentally causing his younger brother’s death, 28-year-old Eugen returns home hoping to reconnect with his estranged father and friends. But the wounds of abandonment drag him back into destructive patterns. Mo Papa is a raw drama about trauma, guilt, love and forgiveness.
