A gloriously ambitious, slick first feature from Co. Down filmmaker Cathal Fitzpatrick, Hollow Trees takes place years after a war that wiped out 50% of the world’s population. A hardened survivor, Kent (Tom Kerrisk), and a young boy, Danny (Louis Kirwan), struggle to survive in the harsh environment. On a scavenging mission, Kent finds himself face to face with a new threat: a strange and terrifying creature capable of imitating humans.  Beautifully shot by Bingham Ray New Talent Award-nominee Ross Power, this sci-fi horror film really shines on the big screen.
