The Colorado River is drying up. Reservoirs are falling to record lows, and drought continues to ravage the borderlands of the United States and Mexico. As the century-old project of re-engineering the natural systems of the American West begins to unravel, many on the fringes are pushed to the brink. Galway filmmakers Kevin Brennan and Laurence Durkin explore this phenomenon in the US and the many facets of its fallout and repercussions for the rest of the world.
