Dani García, one of Spain’s top chefs, faces a dilemma in his career: it’s January 2014 and he finds has no restaurant anymore. He is a chef without a kitchen. His Michelin stars and his prestige are at stake.
Deconstructing Dani García is a feature documentary in which we see the reinvention process of a chef with two Michelin stars. After more than a year shooting his everyday life, and observing his personal and business difficulties, we witness the creation of a restaurant and a menu of haute cuisine in a record time.
