Film Submissions Now Open for 2024

After another successful Fleadh, we are already buzzing with excitement about next year’s edition!

We are thrilled to announce that film submissions are NOW OPEN for the 2024 Galway Film Fleadh which will take place from 9 – 14 July 2024.

Galway Film Fleadh brings luminaries of the filmmaking craft and everyday cinephiles together to share in the wonder of cinema. ‘Fleadh’ is the Irish word for a feast or a celebration, and like Galway itself, our festival is compact, bohemian, informal and fun. Our central goal is to provide a platform for the boldest new films, and to bring audiences and filmmakers from around the world together to share in the wonder of cinema.

Annually, screening between 80 – 100 feature films and up to 100 short films, we are eager to witness the creativity, diversity, and innovation that filmmakers from around the world will bring to our screens. If you have a compelling short film or feature film to share, don’t miss the opportunity to submit this year.

• Earlybird Deadline: Monday, December 11th, 2023, at 11:59 pm GMT (€30 entry fee).
• Regular Deadline: Monday, February 12th, 2024, at 11:59 pm GMT (€40 entry fee).
• Late Deadline for International Feature Films: Monday, March 11th, 2024, at 11:59 pm GMT (€50 entry fee).
• Late Deadline for Irish Feature Films: Friday, April 5th, 2024, at 11:59 pm GMT (€50 entry fee).
