Peripheral Visions is a Europa Film Festivals co-curated competition. Each network member selects a first or second feature from their country and the films are judged by an independent jury. The winning filmmaker receives a cash prize of €5,000.

Europa Film Festivals members include: Athens International Film Festival, CINEMANIA FILM FESTIVAL, Galway Film Fleadh, Stockfish Film Festival, Geneva International Film Festival, Gijon International Film Festival, Filmfest Hamburg, Luxembourg City Film Festival, Midnight Sun Film Festival, Noordelijk Film Festival.
