GALWAY HOOKER AWARDS:
Frank Stapleton –
Frank received a standing ovation from the assembled crowd at the Town Hall Theatre in an emotional tribute to a pioneering Irish director.
Isabelle Huppert –
Mme. Huppert commented on what a fantastic festival the Fleadh is and expressed her love for the places in the world that show a love of film.
She also said she felt at home in Galway, on account of her red hair!
