The Junior Film Fleadh (JFF) has established a Youth Council whose function is to work alongside the Junior team in an advisory capacity. The Council consists of 5 members aged between 13 and 18 years old currently attending secondary school/college in Galway City or County. The Youth Council advises on the features and shorts the JFF are planning to screen coming up with suggestions and ideas for the team to explore. Input is also invited on workshops, discussions and on our annual Script Competition.
The Council meets 3 to 4 times a year on an informal basis and keeps in touch on a regular basis via email. We are currently looking for young people to become involved for 2009/10.
